True Blood

Ok so Brendan and I hung out today

and very quickly discovered that we are recent fans of the same show --

True Blood.

I got into it because a friend of my mom's is doing the jewelry design for next season and I knew next to nothing about the show, besides the fact that it's about vampires. So while I was flicking channels yesterday for the first time in a while, I was bored and decided to watch it on my laptop for a while...and ooooooh boy is it addictive.

Kinda has everything

Cute Couple, the chemistry is totally well done. Which is hard to do. I feel my heart pull pretty often.

Really REALLLYYYYYY sexy main character (whose British accent occasionally makes guest appearences) and creeps you out for the first 5 episodes before you love him so much that you forgive him for all of his creepy ass habits.

Cute innocent female lead, gab between her front teeth basically seals the deal for the ridiculously adorable vibes she gives off. If I met her in real life chances are I would think she was annoying, but somehow the show makes her someone I find endearing.

And a pretty decent plot, considering the premise for the show and all... Besides that, its pretty scandulous all the time. So if you are at all uncomfortable with nudity, gay relationship or drugs, this is the show your parents warned you about.

Anyway, so we talked about it and then watched a bunch of episodes while Brendan continued "packing" and worrying (dont worry so much Brendan. You're doing fine. and college will ROCK!) and considered getting chinese food for the second time today but then realized that neither of us could deal with it at that point. So I went home

AND FINISHED MY PROPOSALS FOR MEXICO CITY!!! There will be YOUTH PROGRAMS! HOOOOOORAHHHHHH!!! so now the completed files and sitting pretty and organized for delivery next week. Sigh of less stress. Yeah, sorry to Isaac who witnessed my worst level of stress the other day after hot room yoga... Thats when it subconciously existed I swear I dont usually walk off and puke my guts out midconversation. I think I havent been drinking enough tea lately...

And so Bex is coming home next weekend (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

and Bee is coming home

and Ben is coming home

and Brendan is leaving me

but kelly and I are around until next weekend

When I will be leaving for the Hickories farm in CT for 5 days and then moving into B33 of Ldub (Saybrook!!!)

So goodnight I want to finish this episode that is queing up.

I finished the first season in the last 2 days...because I cant handle watching tv spread over time. I treat my books the same way.
