Till Next We Meet

Hello all

I am leaving tonight for Truro, where I will spend my last few days in the state with my familia and some family friends before I leave for the Harvest program in Connecticut and move into Yale. I will soon stop being a wandering student...cause in reality BBN dropped me back in May and Yale has yet to adopt me officially. That doesnt happen until the evening of move in day when I check in with the Saybrook Master. Oooh ahhh!

But it has been a long and steady series of goodbyes that are starting to give me a headache. And I think my body/mind has gone into defensive mode where I dont get the same horrible crippling depression that I used to have when I was little and someone I love left, now I feel a little saddness and I make myself pack or do something else.

So lets make a list of the goodbyes I have had in the past 24 hours.

And as if that wasnt bad enough, there were loads of others scattered in the past two weeks. And every now and then it was really bad. But keeping myself busy was a really good way of avoiding the crippling depression. I'm just someone who is really bad at goodbyes. What can I say?

So it was a good day otherwise. I went to the Watertown diner again this month with Ben, Kelly, Isaac, Allie, and Miles which was so good. I love their pancakes so much it kills me. We had a good time and I said goodbye to everybody except Ben and Kelly who came home with me to see Sam. Who moved in today! Hello to my new favorite Cambridge Resident! (See people, you got your mentions.)

And now I am just making sure I have everything, feeling a little blue and sending Bee the letter I promised her when I talked to her last night. She is all moved in and thats so wonderful. I'm glad for my happy Bee :) and Bmels is moving in today, so I hope that went well too.

So for now, goodbye until I am on Campus. In my Room. And I am all set up.
