Cardboard Boxes

I once heard this song in Germany that was on the radio all the time
and I loved it so much
but I could never find it here. Cause i never remembered enough of the lyrics to find it on google.
But it was about packing books in boxes and leaving things behind
and finding stuff you were looking for before and then forgot

well, doesnt it seem like there is a lot of that going on right now?
for those of us who are packing for college anyway
my room is FULL of boxes, crap, stuff I need to deal with... the works.
And now all these people I have talked to/seen in ages are calling me...
its maddness. I mean seriously people? What changed? Guilt? Dont feel bad.

I have gone through clothes, and I bought socks today.
Which sounds really boring but I really hate socks. And I rarely wear them. (I like cute socks but never wear them...) So I was buying boring stuff like that and feeling a little nostaglic about leaving home. Weird. It really is. Since I go away so often for extended periods of time. I think of it like the end of an era. I wont be living at home anymore. And for me, thats weird. I worry too much sometimes, as we all know.

I got all these pictures printed out and I made collages with them to hang on my walls and I have to say I TOTALLY LOVE THEM! mostly because its a really random mix of people and events but all of them make me laugh for different reasons. So thank you to everyone who made these slightly embarassing photos possible. I plan to resurface them at your weddings, just so you all know.

I actually sat down today in Darwins to look at the course catalogue with Grim. It was really interesting to hear his prospective on many things, and even more interesting to see the strange old woman in the chair next to us hit on him. Poor Miles.

So now I'm home this weekend, trying to finish old projects, packing and my mexico city proposal that I havent quite finished. I'm hoping it will be a productive weekend, since I have failed about getting much done on most accounts.

and now I'm going to move some of these boxes out of the line of fire since I cant really walk around in here any more and my cats have taken to sleeping in them. fabbbulous.

Oh, Maine was fun. Very relaxing. I read the Fountainhead which is officially one of my favorite books ever, so thank you for giving it to me, Elly Belly. I'm hoping to buy Atlas Shrugged at the New England Mobile bookfair soon. When Bee gets back, actually. Since I am going on a guided shopping trip with her to make sure she has everything before she leaves/camping on her floor and sobbing my eyes out begging her not to leave me. But you know, same difference. I just love you that much Bee.

Good night kids.
And for my girls at Bard, have fun. I sent you postcards yesterday and hopefully I will mail these letters tomorrow. I love you both very very much.
