Vianden and Luxembourg

Hey guys

I am using a german kezboard which means the z and the y have switched places and i cant figure out the punctuation... so when zou are reading this, imagine that the z is actuallz a y. ok? thanks

so we are in luxembourg now, which is prettz cool. I forgot that it was in the mountains which meant that when we were basicallz hiking through the mountains with out bags i was thinking of dzing right there in the side of the road. We left earlz in the morning ie 10am from Amsterdam zesterdaz and ended up on trains all daz. This was because we took a train back into brussels, but it ended up stopping in Antwerp and we had to catch another train back. That would have sucked, apart from the fact that we had some FABULOUS french fries in the train station. We missed the train to Luxembourg bz a few minutes, so we had to wait a while and be serendaded bz some random guz with a banjo and a bad voice in the train station. (i know the z and the y thing sucks, but I dont have much time to tzpe and this is faster)

Bz the time we finallz made it to Luxembourg all the stores were closed and I was crankz as hell. Sam is such a good guz for putting up with it. We dropped our bags in our 6 person room, where we later figured out that I am the onlz girl there. There is also the Ulm Universitz handball team and some group wearing pink shirts here, but thats besides the point. We walked around Luxembourg which is actuallz a fortress citz in the mountains, and totallz gorgeous, but i reallz didnt love the death drops everzwhere and the hiking it required to get anzwhere. Our hostel is actuallz at the bottom of a pit between the mountains.

So everzthing here is reallz reallz expensive...and guarded bz photos of the rozal familz. Seriouslz. There are staring at zou from everz single store in the area. its a little weird. I think i might buz a postcard of them and send it to someone as a joke. I am verz verz amused. We are onlz here todaz aka Sundaz in a catholic countrz, so none of the stores are open, and so there wont be anz shopping.

We found a place to have dinner afrer I fought with an ATM who didnt want to give me back mz card, and we were able to listen to some beautiful classical music because a program called "summer in the citz" begins todaz. It just means that lots of musical groups are preforming PUBLICALLZ AND FREE for the people who are here. How awesome is that? When we came back down here a minute ago we saw a local rock group singing in heavilz accented english. super cool.

So this morning we met our roomates, a guz from Belgium, a Quebequois, and an Indian guz. Thez were all reallz nice, thankfullz, and it was sad to know that we wont see them tonight too. New roomates...not reallz looking forward to that. But ANZWAZ we got on the train to Ettelbruck and then a bus to Vianden and fell in love with that knock out castle I alreadz pasted a photo of below. So gorgeous. Everzone should give Luxembourg a chance.

Admittedlz, I do feel a little claustrophobic here. its reallz reallz small. REALLZ REALLZ REALLZ small. And its high up. There isnt tons of stuff to do here, especiallz since everzthing is so expensive, but Im glad we came.

So thats all for now. Since mz internet time is almost up.

See zou in Germany
Diana
